It doesn’t have a bad aftertaste and lasts a long time. Will definitely keep buying it. Doesn’t spike my sugars either.

— Eileen H

This monk fruit is by far one of the best I have tried! It is refreshing to know that it is pure monk fruit without any additives. The tip of the bottle allows you to put just the right amount in your coffee, yogurt, or whatever you are enjoying at the moment.

— Joyce

I have been using monk fruit as a sweetener for my coffee for years in granulated form, I was so happy to see this pure and clean extract…it’s the perfect addition to your morning coffee and to get your day going. Highly recommend!

— Amazon Customer

I decided to try this monk fruit extract and I absolutely love it. My tea finally tastes good again!

— Anon

I use 8 drops in my morning coffee to equal about a teaspoon of sugar, and I barely notice any aftertaste compared to the equivalent sweetness (5 drops) of pure stevia.

— Sarah

I have type two diabetes, and now can enjoy hot cocoa made with this extract and cacao powder. Also, anything else that calls for sugar. Six drops equals 1 teaspoon of sugar. Easy to keep in your purse while keeping another at home for cooking.

— Amazon Customer

I had been using another brand of monk fruit liquid drops. I found those to be more watered down. The only ingredient in this is monk fruit without anything to water it down. It only takes a few drops to sweeten your drink and it is a natural substitute for sugar. Love it!

— Beryl Frenger

For starters, I did a lot of research about this product, I saw other sugar substitutes and this one stood out to me the most. I have been trying to find alternatives for sugar for our family, especially for our kids. It has a good cap for safety on it, it’s a small bottle, but monk fruit extract is strong, so the bottle should last us for a while. We use it on smoothies and iced coffee drinks we make at home. Definitely glad we purchased this.

— Ian Andrew

In the past, I've had a sweet tooth and it's gotten me in trouble. I had completely pushed back on refined sugars. Now, it's easy to add just the right amount of natural sweetener straight from nature! Great taste as it doesnt have that manufactured sweetener feel to it, and easy to dispense. This is a great product, one little bottle will last me a long time so the value is there as well.

— Mike

What is Monk Fruit?

Monk fruit (also known as Luohan Guo) is a small sub-tropical melon that has been cultivated in the remote mountains of Southern China for centuries. According to legend, monk fruit is named after the Buddhist monks who first cultivated the fruit nearly 800 years ago.

Why is Monk Fruit used as a sweetener?

Monk Fruit is sweet like any other fruit, but what makes monk fruit special is that its sweetness doesn’t come from sugar but from natural antioxidants called Mogrosides. There’s different types of mogrosides but one in particular called Mogroside V is up to 250x sweeter than sugar with none of the calories. Isn’t that crazy?!

What makes this product special?

Our Monk Fruit Drops are a pure, liquid monk fruit extract. The competition, on the other hand, makes their liquid extracts by diluting powdered monk fruit extracts in water and then adding preservatives, sometimes "natural" flavors. It tastes artificial, and we don’t like that.

Instead, we quite literally harvest the fruit, wash it, extract its juice, and then pack it. The natural sugars of the fruit serve as a preservative, so there’s no need to add anything artificial to it. It’s 100% natural, and you can taste the difference.

How is the product made?

Monk fruit is a small sub-tropical melon that has been cultivated in the remote mountains of Southern China for centuries. We work with our partners in Guilin, China, to harvest the monk fruit and process it to extract its juice concentrate. We then bring it to the US and bottle it into our convenient bottles. Every facility that touches the product is FDA and GMP certified.

Is it safe to consume?

Yes. Every facility that touches the product is FDA and GMP certified, and we work with third-party labs to run tests at every major stage of the process. This assures that the product you receive from us is always held to the highest industry standards.

Does it have to be refrigerated?

Yes. The product is shelf-stable, but we recommend refrigeration after opening to maintain freshness. This is recommended for all liquid monk fruit sweeteners. The cold delays the growth of any airborne contaminants that may find their way into the bottle after opening.
