Monk fruit (also known as Luohan Guo) is a small sub-tropical melon that has been cultivated in the remote mountains of Southern China for centuries. According to legend, monk fruit is named after the Buddhist monks who first cultivated the fruit nearly 800 years ago.

Monk Fruit is sweet like any other fruit, but what makes monk fruit special is that its sweetness doesn’t come from sugar but from natural antioxidants called Mogrosides. There’s different types of mogrosides but one in particular called Mogroside V is up to 250x sweeter than sugar with none of the calories. Isn’t that crazy?!

Monk Fruit Drops is made with pure, liquid monk fruit extract. We use no fillers, ever.

We quite literally harvest the fruit, wash it, extract its juice, and then pack it. We also add natural compounds from flaxseed, oregano, and fruit to help preserve the product and allow you to safely carry it wherever you go.

The Monk Fruit sweeteners you find in bags at the grocery store are 99% fillers (erythritol, allulose, dextrose, and/or maltodextrin) and only 1% monk fruit.

There's other liquid monk fruit extracts in the market, but they re made by diluting powdered monk fruit extracts in water and then adding a variety of different preservatives and other compounds. It tastes artificial, and we don’t like that.
